The difference between 1P and 2P breaker breaker

Whether it is a leakage circuit breaker or an ordinary MCB, there are 1P and 2P points, and the classification principles are the same.

When the 1P circuit breaker is disconnected, only one wire can be disconnected-the live wire. In other words, when the circuit breaker is opened, the neutral line is still connected. If a fault occurs at this time, causing the neutral line to become live, it will still cause injury to maintenance personnel. When wiring, just connect the live wire to the circuit breaker.

1P leakage circuit breaker, although the neutral wire and live wire are connected to the circuit breaker at the same time during wiring, what is provided here is only the leakage detection of the neutral wire. When the circuit breaker is opened, the neutral line still cannot be disconnected.

The biggest difference between 2P circuit breaker and 1P circuit breaker is that it can disconnect the neutral line. Therefore, as mentioned above, the neutral wire and live wire terminal of the 2P circuit breaker can be interchanged. Because the opening and closing of the two are carried out at the same time.

If the zero line of the 1P circuit breaker is swapped, it will cause the zero line to be disconnected when the circuit breaker is disconnected, but the live line is not. In this way, there will still be voltage in the circuit.
